EMILY COOLEY '08 WINS YOUNG COMPOSER COMPETITION
Congratulations to Emily Cooley '08, who was recently recognized by the MacDowell Club of Milwaukee as the winner of the 2014 Young Composer Competition. Cooley is also a 2015 recipient of the Charles Ives Scholarship from the American Academy of Arts and Letters, an honor reserved for promising young composers.
A graduate of the University of Southern California School of Music and Yale University, Cooley is currently serving under the Milton L. Rock Composition Fellowship at the Curtis Institute of Music in Philadelphia. |

REUNION SAVE THE
DATES
USM invites all alumni and parents of alumni to Reunion Weekend, June 24-25, 2016. New this year, all reunion celebrations will be moving back to the summer.
Reunion Weekend festivities will start Friday, June 24 with the USM Summer Soiree at Milwaukee Country Club. This annual social is open to all alumni and parents of alumni -- not just those celebrating a milestone reunion year.
The celebration will continue on Saturday, June 25 with campus tours in the morning, followed by the Blue & Gold BBQ. Classes celebrating a milestone reunion will have their class parties on Saturday, June 25.
