MARK RYLANCE '78 GARNERS EMMY AWARD NOMINATION
Congratulations to Mark Rylance '78, who was recently nominated for an Emmy Award for his work on the PBS "Masterpiece" series "Wolf Hall."
Rylance was nominated for outstanding lead actor in a limited series for his performance as Thomas Cromwell. Rylance is a three-time Tony Award winner and a two-time Olivier Award recipient. The 67th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards will be presented on Sunday, September 20.
ISAAC SCHLENKER '14 AND JACK WELLS '14 JOIN MADISON MEN'S SOCCER TEAM
Congratulations to Isaac Schlenker '14 and Jack Wells '14, who will both join the University of Wisconsin - Madison men's soccer team for the 2015 season. Schlenker, a forward, and Wells, a goalkeeper, were both key members of the USM boys' soccer team that captured the WIAA Division 4 state championship in 2013.

EMILY COOLEY '08 AWARDED A CHARLES IVES SCHOLARSHIP
Congratulations to Emily Cooley '08, who was recently awarded the Charles Ives Scholarship from the prestigious American Academy of Arts and Letters. The scholarship is reserved for young composers. Cooley, a graduate of the University of Southern California (USC) School of Music and Yale University, is currently serving under the Milton L. Rock Composition Fellowship at the Curtis Institute of Music in Philadelphia.

50 YEARS OF USM COMMEMORATIVE BOOK
The 2014-2015 school year marked 50 years since our predecessor schools - Milwaukee Country Day School, Milwaukee Downer Seminary, and Milwaukee University School -merged to form University School of Milwaukee. We celebrate 50 Years of USM in a commemorative book which will be mailed to members of our alumni community along with an abbreviated issue of our magazine, USM Today. Watch your mailboxes for USM Today and our special 50 Years of USM commemorative book!
