USM Bids A Fond Farewell To Retirees at Reception
Carolyn Lengh, Kathy Housiaux, Kathleen Friedman and Claudia Edwards were honored at a retirement ceremony held in the Marion and Verne Read Lower School Gymnasium on Wednesday, May 21. Attendees shared stories and enjoyed light refreshments before a short program celebrating their respective careers. A sincere thank you for all of your exemplary work, you will be greatly missed!

Congratulations to the Class of 2014
The USM Alumni Association was proud to welcome 95 graduates, including 32 lifers and 10 children of alumni (pictured above), into its membership at Commencement 2014. Commencement addresses, including that of keynote speaker Scott Friedman '90, are available here. 

USM Community Celebrates Joe Lubar '08 at Memorial Baseball Event
The USM community celebrated the life of Joe Lubar '08 at the Joe Lubar Memorial Baseball Event on May 31. Attendees reminisced with old friends, enjoyed food, and shared Joe's love of baseball during the event, highlighted by an alumni game at Alfred James Field.

Middle School Students Showcase Memorial Projects at MIAD
Students in Hannah Reimer's 7th-grade English class designed and created memorial posters remembering the Holocaust, culminating in a presentation to local artists and professors at the Milwaukee Institute of Art and Design (MIAD) on Tuesday, May 27. Five posters received awards of excellence from the panel at MIAD, and will be featured at the Jewish Museum of Milwaukee throughout June and July.
