Alumni Faculty Spotlight: Charlie Housiaux '02
Helping build the next generation of leaders, and returning to his beloved hometown, was an opportunity that Charlie Housaiux '02 could not pass up. After leaving Milwaukee for college, Charlie returned years later drawn by the appeal of giving back to the school that he loves and raising his young family in the same community that he grew up loving. Alumni Super Sports Saturday
Lace-up those skates, tie up those sneakers, put on your blue and gold athletic gear, and join us for Super Sports Saturday on Saturday, Dec. 23, hosted by the USM Alumni Association! Alumni are invited to participate in the following events:

  • Men's Alumni Basketball Game from 9:30 to 11 a.m.
  • Men's Alumni Hockey Game from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
  • Women's Alumni Basketball Game from 12:30 to 2 p.m.
  • Women's Alumni Hockey Skate with Varsity Co-op from 2:30 to 4 p.m.

Refreshments will be provided! Not interested in playing in the games, but still want to connect with friends on campus? No problem! Alumni of all eras are welcome to visit and enjoy a trip down memory lane over the holiday weekend.
USM Visits Naples!
The USM Alumni Association is hitting the road for our next regional visit in South Florida! Join us in Naples, Florida on Thursday, March 7, 2024. We will be graciously hosted in the home of Steve MCDS'61 and Sally Stevens. Learn more and register to join us in sunny South Florida!
USM Day of Service
More than 100 USM alumni, current students and families, faculty, and staff volunteered at the Interchange Food Pantry on Saturday, Nov. 18 to help assemble and distribute Thanksgiving meal baskets to those in need. Our awesome group of Wildcats assembled baskets with turkey, ham, and all the trimmings for 556 families, and had a great time connecting in the process.

Consider joining us for our Earth Day Morning of Service on Saturday, April 27, 2024 from 8:30 to 11 a.m. where volunteers of all ages will help with tree planting and other outdoor activities. Please watch for additional details and registration information in the new year.
USM Visits the Windy City
Alumni of all eras gathered at the University Club of Chicago for our regional event in November. We had a great turnout, thanks to all who joined us!
Save the Date: Reunion Weekend
Join us on our gorgeous campus for a bonanza of blue and gold pride on June 21-22, 2024. We will have our annual Summer Soirée cocktail party, campus tours, the Joe Lubar '08 Alumni Baseball game, and a family-friendly cookout with our head of school, Steve Hancock. This year we will be celebrating the Class of 1974 along with milestone reunion years for classes that end in 4's and 9's. More information and registration details will be available in the coming months.
Alumni Award Nominations
Alumni Service Award: The Alumni Service Award, created in 1984, is given to an alumnus/a in grateful recognition of their achievements in working toward the betterment of USM and the community in which it serves. Please nominate friends and classmates who you feel are deserving of this honor. A list of past recipients of this wonderful recognition can be found on our website. The Alumni Service Award will be given out during the Summer Soirée on Friday, June 21, 2024 as part of Reunion Weekend.
